Egypt Condemns Terrorist Attack on Coal Miners in Pakistan

On Monday, Egypt condemned the brutal terrorist attack that took place in the Balochistan province of Pakistan, which targeted coal miners, resulting in 11 deaths and a number of injuries.

Egypt expressed its sincere condolences to Pakistan, and to the families of the victims of this brutal terrorist attack.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed support for the government and people of Pakistan in confronting terrorism.

On Sunday. 11 coal miners were killed and 3 others were injured in an armed attack in the Bolan district of Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province, local police said, according to Samaa TV channel.

Deputy Commissioner of Bolan Murad Kasi said that the attack took place at night, explaining that unidentified gunmen kidnapped the workers, then killed them after taking them to a remote area.

The investigation into the incident is underway. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
