Egypt strongly condemned on Sunday the terrorist attack that targeted a hotel in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, which resulted in numerous deaths and injuries.
In a statment, Foreign Ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Somalia, and to the families of the victims of this disgraceful attack, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
Moreover, Egypt affirms its solidarity and full support for Somalia in confronting all forms of extremism and terrorism, calling for the concerted efforts of the international community to confront terrorism and dry up its sources.
