The Arabic Republic of Egypt condemned and rejected, Saturday, the latest attacks in Eastern Jerusalem yesterday which left behind 7 victims and others injured.
Egypt asserted, in the statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday, its rejection of all attacks that target civilians.
It also warned of the dangerous results of the current development of the events between Palestine and Isreal, calling for self-control.
The country also called for an immediate stop to all provocative measures to prevent any further episodes of violence which would worsen the current political and humanitarian situation.
In addition, Egypt warned of the results of any further violent acts that could hinder the efforts of peace and reviving the peace process.
By the end of the statement, Egypt expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery to the injured.
