Egypt Condemns Houthi Continuous Attacks in Saudi Arabia

Egypt strongly denounced, on Sunday, the continuous Houthi attack in Saudi Arabia that targeted civilian objects and economic installations.

"These horrific attacks in Saudi Arabia are a dangerous escalation and blatant targeting of the security and sovereignty of the Kingdom, and a direct threat to security and stability in the region," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Moreover, Egypt asserted that the despicable terrorist attacks represent a flagrant violation of the principles and rules of international law.

“Egypt stressed full solidarity with the Kingdom in whatever measures it is taking to confront these despicable terrorist attacks,” the ministry added, highlighting the close relationship between the two countries.

“The terrorist, Iran backed Houthi militia has escalated its hostile, cross-border attacks towards the Kingdom last night and earlier this morning, targeting civilian objects and economic installations in a deliberate, systematic manner," SPA News Agency reported.
