Egypt strongly condemned on Saturday the drone attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, describing them as a violation of Bahrain's sovereignty, a threat to its security and stability, and an unacceptable escalation that undermines efforts to reduce tensions across the region.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates, Egypt said the attacks come at a time when regional efforts are moving forward to promote de-escalation and stability. It stressed the importance of refraining from any actions that could fuel tensions or undermine efforts to strengthen regional peace and security.
Egypt reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Gulf states, expressing its support for all measures taken to safeguard their security and stability. It also affirmed its support for Bahrain in confronting any threat to its security and territorial integrity.
