Egypt condemned attacks on Zamzam camp for displaced people near El Fasher, capital of North Darfur, denouncing the grave violations of international humanitarian law that resulted in the deaths of Sudanese civilians and several members of an international relief organization.
Egypt firmly stressed the importance of protecting humanitarian workers and preventing any form of violence or assault against them.
It also extended its deepest condolences to the Sudanese people and the families of the victims.
