Egypt expressed on Thursday its deep condemnation of the assassination of Haiti's President Jovenel Moise and extended its sincere condolences to the friendly Haitian government and people in this painful incident, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
“Egypt stresses the need to bring those responsible for this crime to justice,” Rady added.
In this regard, Egypt calls on all parties in the Republic of Haiti to calm down, resume the political process, and work to restore stability in a way that guarantees the security of the Haitian people and the integrity of state institutions.
