Egypt Concludes Export Contracts with Cameroon, Senegal Worth $26 Mln

Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea said that the first trade mission for Cameroon and Senegal achieved outstanding results, including the conclusion of export contracts worth $26 million.

The contract include exports such as cement, clinker products, insulation materials, fertilizers, chemicals, packaging materials, engineering industries, food products, sanitary ware, plastic pipes, and irrigation systems as well as carpets.

Gamea added, in a statement to the ministry on Thursday, that the second trade mission for the delegation of Egyptian businessmen is currently being prepared and arranged as part of the “Business Links with West and Central Africa” initiative for the countries of Togo and Cote d’Ivoire during the Q4 of this 2021.

Meantime, the work of the first mission, was heavily praised by the delegation's businessmen for its fruitful results.
