Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, has urged the United Nations to take an active role through its developmental and humanitarian agencies to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
He emphasized the importance of continuous coordination with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to ensure the success of the upcoming Gaza Reconstruction Conference, scheduled to be held in Cairo.
Moreover, Abdelatty highlighted Egypt’s ongoing efforts to facilitate humanitarian aid to Sudan, calling on the international community to intensify its efforts to address the worsening humanitarian situation in the country.
The minister’s remarks underscore Egypt's commitment to regional stability and its proactive stance in addressing humanitarian crises affecting neighboring nations.
