Egyptian government starts on Saturday, implementing a number of decisions regarding lifting the curfew and re-opening cafes, restaurants and clubs until further notice.

Last Tuesday, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced that a number of measures have been taken by the government to reopen restaurants, cafes and clubs, starting from next Saturday, with a capacity of up to 25%.

He pointed out that shops will be allowed to open until 9 pm, restaurants and cafes until 10 pm, while public beaches are still closed.

He added that sporting activities, Egyptian league and sports competitions will be resumed.

The PM stressed the necessity to wear masks in order to protect from the Corona virus.

The PM had previously mentioned that places of worship will be opened from next Saturday, June 27, with controls set by the Ministry of Awqaf, for daily prayers only, while weekly prayers are still suspended.
