The Egyptian national football team achieved a difficult victory over its Senegalese counterpart, with a single goal, in the match that brought them together on Friday evening at Cairo International Stadium, in the first leg of the decisive round of World Cup qualifiers.

The match was held at Cairo International Stadium in the presence of more than 60,000 football fans, in the first leg of the decisive round of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
The return match is scheduled to take place in Senegal next Tuesday.
