The Prime Minister expressed contentment with the opening of the industrial complex of the Turkish company "Beko", specialized in manufacturing home appliances, in the industrial zone.
It is a giant industrial edifice being built on Egyptian land, to cover the demand in the local market and to be a regional center for export in the entire Middle East and Europe.
Madbouly added that the government aimed to attract 3 giant global companies, namely the Chinese global company "Haier", and today the Turkish company "Beko", the second largest company in the world, and the third company is "Bosch", which is scheduled to open its factory in the near future.
The government provided all procedures, facilitations and incentives, including giving these companies the golden license, and the land was made available to them through direct allocation, adding that each of the three companies was able to complete its own factory in a period not exceeding one year.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly pointed out, during his speech, that the “Beko” factory currently operates with a capacity of 650 workers, and it is scheduled to increase to reach 2,000 workers during the coming period.
