The Ministries of Electricity and Petroleum announced an increase in load relief on the network for an additional hour today only.
The two ministries announced Tuesday that this comes due to maintenance measures in part of the regional gas networks with the increase in local electricity consumption rates as a result of rising temperatures, which requires increasing the power cuts today for an additional hour.
They confirmed in a statement that the increase in load cuts comes to maintain the operational efficiency of the National electricity transmission grid, as well as the natural gas grid.
