Egypt's national team head coach Hossam El Badry announced on Tuesday the Pharaohs' preliminary squad for Togo's encounters in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Egypt will face off Togo on November 14 and 17 in the third and fourth rounds of the AFCON qualifiers.
The squad witnessed the prescience of Abdallah El Saeed, Ali Gabr, Ramadan Sobhi, and Mohamed Taher.
The Preliminary Squad is As Follows:
Goalkeepers: El Mahdy Soliman, Mohamed Bassam
Defenders: Ali Gabr, Ahmed Aymen Mansour, Ahmed Abou El Fotouh, Mohamed Hamdy, Mohamed Sherif
Midfielders: Mohamed Farouk, Ahmed Tawfik, Ramadan Sobhi, Abdallah El Saeed, Taher Mohamed, Akram Tawfik
Forwards: Hossam Hassan
The Egyptian camp is due to start on November 3 after the end of the Egyptian Premier League, as Al Ahly and Zamalek players will join it after ending their adventures in the CAF Champions League.
The professionals players will be called up to join the Pharaohs' camp on November 9.
On his part, the team's director Mohamed Barakat said that the technical staff, headed by El Badry, put all the options on the table to compensate the absence of any player.
