Egypt to Quarter Finals in Tokyo Olympics after Defeating Australia 2-0

Egypt defeated Australia in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with two clean goals to qualify for the quarter finals of the tournament.

The Pharaohs came second in Group C after Spain, who hold 1-1 against Argentina in the other group match.

Before the break, Ahmed Yasser Rayan had opened the scoring after receiving an excellent assist from Ramadan Sobhi to score from a very close range.

Amar Hamdy scored the second goal for the Pharaohs after following Naser Mansi great move and shot to slot the ball from a very close range.

Egypt now will face Brazil in the quarter finals.
