Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli recently held a meeting with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain to discuss regional developments and ways to maintain security and stability in the region.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the Egyptian state is working hard to achieve a ceasefire and provide aid to the Gaza Strip, noting that the coordination is ongoing with various parties throughout the day.

Regarding local affairs, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of monitoring the markets and ensuring that goods are available to citizens. The government has recently taken steps to reduce prices and ensure that goods are available in local markets. A committee, including ministers and officials, has been formed to oversee this file. Mini-working groups have also been formed in each governorate to monitor the availability of goods in the markets.

The Prime Minister is interested in holding a weekly meeting to monitor the movement of markets and commodity prices. He noted the decline in their prices during the last period, which is in line with the government's recent measures to provide foreign currency. The government is following up and monitoring the situation of low prices according to the directives of the President of the Republic.
