Education Minister Heads to Paris for UNESCO's "Digital Learning Week 2024" Conference

Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, traveled to Paris, on Sunday, to participate in the "Digital Learning Week 2024" conference organized by UNESCO under the theme "Steering Technology for Education" from September 2 to 5, 2024.

The minister is scheduled to participate in a general session titled "Technology and AI in Education: Ensuring a Human-Centered, Sustainable Approach," during which he will present Egypt's efforts and vision for integrating technology and artificial intelligence into education.

On the sidelines of the conference, Minister Abdel Latif is set to hold bilateral meetings with several UNESCO officials to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the coming period, particularly in areas related to the educational system, including teacher training and lifelong learning systems.

Additionally, the minister will participate in a meeting to discuss the "Open Schools for All" project, supported by technology, where the discussion will focus on the AI strategy in education.
