Education Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif said the ministry has introduced strict measures to ensure discipline and fairness during the 2026 general secondary school exams.
Speaking during a meeting with education reporters on Wednesday, the minister said more than 900,000 students take the exams every year, stressing the ministry’s responsibility to provide fair testing conditions and reduce pressure on families.
He said strict procedures and monitoring systems will be applied to prevent violations and maintain order inside examination committees, especially in light of technological challenges linked to cheating methods.
Abdel Latif added that education directorates will closely monitor the exams, while specialized teams will supervise the process to ensure transparency and discipline.
The minister also said the ministry has published practice exam models to help students prepare for the format and style of questions ahead of the exams.
