Educ. Min: Studying Could Be Suspended due to Unstable Weather

Sources from Education Ministry told media agencies on Saturday that there is a possibility of suspending studying in the regions that face unbearable weather conditions and strong rain.

The ministry officials highlighted that the decision of suspending studying for a day or more due to weather conditions is in the hands of the governors.

It is worthy to mention that on Saturday Egypt experienced the fall of strong showers on the northern coasts, the Great Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the north of Upper Egypt.

Therefore, all educational administrations across all of Egypt directed schools to put off power at schools in order to protect students from the dangers of electricity, keep all students away from power sources, and remove any water pools inside the schools.

In addition, they urged schools to keep students inside classrooms when it is raining.
