The activities of the second Egyptian international exhibition for defense and military industries EDEX 2021, which was launched from November 29 to December 2, concluded, with the play of military music and distinguished artistic performances, with fireworks lighting the skies of Cairo.
The exhibition was accompanied by delegations from the participating countries, inspect the various pavilions of the exhibition, which included the products of more than 350 exhibitors from 42 countries around the world.
The Minister of Defense and Military Production Muhammad Zaki said that Egypt received the delegations of the participating countries to discuss ways of military cooperation and support.
Zaki thanked all companies and exhibitors for their efforts and for their honorable appearance, which reflects the importance of the exhibition for all those interested in the field of armaments and defense systems.
The leaders of the main branches and a number of senior commanders of the Egyptian Armed Forces also met with some delegations and representatives of international companies.
The leaders of the military delegations participating in the exhibition praised the Egypt pavilion and the advanced military industries it contains, which reflect Egypt’s correct path towards breaking into the field of military industrialization.
President Sisi inaugurated EDEX 2021 on Monday. The organizing company, AWE, announced that the exhibition this year witnessed the attendance of about 400 exhibitors from 42 countries to display the latest technologies in defense and armaments, alongside the attendance of official delegations of dignitaries from 45 countries, many military delegations and more than 30,000 visitors.
