Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn have announced the birth of their daughter Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.
The singer, 29, took to Instagram on Tuesday morning to share the happy news.
Sharing a picture of Lyra's tiny booties and a colorful blanket, he revealed that Cherry gave birth last week.
He wrote: "Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you..."
"Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter - Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran. We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing, and we are on cloud nine over here," Sheeran continued.
"We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love, and I will see you when it is time to come back, Ed x" he concluded.

The unique name was inspired by the new dad's favorite book series, "His Dark Materials" by Philip Pullman.
The singer, 29, had tweeted on Twitter about his love for the Pullman trilogy back in 2015, which he described as "Best books ever".
Lyra Belacqua, also known as Lyra Silvertongue, is the protagonist of Pullman's trilogy.
"[By] far, Philip Pullman - his dark materials are the best books I've ever read." Sheeran tweeted in 2015.

The couple kept the pregnancy a secret during coronavirus lockdown, however, the news made public last month.
They have been together for five years. The “Shape of you” singer, 29, and Seaborn, 27 first met at school, when they both attended Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham, Suffolk.
However, Seaborn moved to the US for university, she moved back to the UK in 2016 to be with Sheeran, after working on Wall Street.
Sheeran confirmed last summer that he and Seaborn tied the knot in a private ceremony in January 2019.
The couple wed in a ceremony that saw just 40 close friends and family in attendance, the Sun reported.
In 2018, Sheeran announced his engagement to Seaborn with a candid Instagram snap, gushing to fans: ‘Got myself a fiancée just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx’
The couple first met as children when they both attended Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham, Suffolk.

He explained that Seaborn’s job as a risk assessor at an accounting firm meant they have previously been separated for a long period when he’s been on tour, explaining that ‘something has to give’ in order for the couple to last long term.
Sheeran stated that ‘he is starting a life with Seaborn, pointing out that he cannot spend the next 20 years on the road as kids would be the different thing.
