The telecom and technology group e& has officially launched its new wholesale services and operator business office in Miami, under the name e& Wholesale Americas, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy.
The opening ceremony, held on Friday, was attended by representatives from the UAE Embassy in the United States. This move strengthens e&’s growing presence in the Americas and supports its vision of delivering seamless, AI-powered global connectivity.
Miami becomes the third major international hub for e&’s wholesale unit, alongside existing offices in London and Singapore.
The new center will serve as a gateway into the dynamic markets of North and South America, offering advanced services in telecommunications, data, and roaming.
Nabil Baccouche, CEO of e&’s wholesale and operator services division, described the launch as a strategic step to access new markets and enhance the group's global digital infrastructure. He emphasized that Miami offers a strong tech ecosystem, making it an ideal base for shaping the future of digital connectivity.
This expansion is a core element of the group’s long-term e& 2030 strategy, placing e& at the heart of the innovation ecosystem across the Americas.
The Miami office will be led by Matteo Pablo Melicotta, Head of International Wholesale Business. A seasoned executive with extensive experience in launching international operations, Melicotta will oversee the company's regional expansion plans.
Melicotta stated that the aim of e& Wholesale Americas goes beyond geographic growth. The company is committed to contributing to the future of global connectivity and digital innovation, while also supporting e& subsidiaries and investment companies in entering new markets cost-effectively.
