The School of International Business includes majors in: Accounting and Information Systems - Human Resource Management.

The university’s admission criteria are as follows: for the Faculty of Engineering, the student must attain a minimum of 80% for students from Thanawiya Amma and equivalent certificates and a minimum of 75% for students of STEM schools.

As for the Faculty of International Business Administration, students from Thanawiya Amma and equivalent certificates must acquire a minimum of 70%, while the minimum for students of STEM schools is 65%.

Prof. El-Gohary pointed out that enrollment in the University at the undergraduate level does not rely only on the total grade attained in the Thanawiya Amma certificate, but also depends on the admission tests held by the University for the Faculty of Engineering (Math 1, Chemistry, Physics, English Language and Logical Thinking) and the Faculty of International Business and Humanities (Math 1 , English Language and Logical Thinking).

It is worth mentioning that E-JUST was established in 2009 as an Egyptian public university of special nature in partnership with the Japanese government, with the purpose of using Japanese educational systems and academic concepts that are based on laboratory methods in education, and learning based on research projects.

The University aims to provide modern academic programs and establish centers of excellence for basic and applied research that serve the local and regional community through building partnerships with major Japanese academic and research institutions as well as helping industrial companies to conduct applied research and learn about Japanese technologies.

The university is preparing to open its Main Campus on an area of 200 acres in the New Borg El-Arab City. The design of the campus was created to keep pace with the latest global technology available to become an environmentally friendly smart campus.

The percentage of buildings is 17% of the total area and the design relied on providing an infrastructure at an advanced technical level. The Egyptian government bears the cost of its full construction, while the Japanese side, represented by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), provides all technical and laboratory preparations and equipment. Hence, representing an ideal partnership between the two countries in the field of education and scientific research.
