The 48-year-old American-Canadian actor Dwayne Johnson shared how he could not fit in a Porsche sports car to film a huge chase scene in his upcoming movie Red Notice earlier today on his official Instagram account @therock.

Johnson posted a behind the scenes picture of himself with the brand-new sleek Porsche with the caption ‘Aaaaand guess who’s too big to fit in yet another sports car and now we have to change the entire shot sequence around.’

According to Johnson, the Red Notice director Rawson Marshall Thurber planned this huge and insane car chase scene where Johnson was set to jump in and drive a brand-new Porsche sports car.

However, Thurber, Johnson and all the Red Notice crew where surprised to find that Johnson’s muscular wide shoulders and back cannot fit in the Porsche despite Johnson’s determined efforts to try and fit in.

At first, Thurber thought that Johnson was joking especially since they spent months prepping to buy and ship the sports car to the United States not to mention the financial cost just specifically for this scene. However, when the director realized it was not a joke and after a few panicked and shocked minutes, Thurber thankfully thought quick and found new “creative” ways to still film the scene.

The Red Notice film is an American upcoming action, comedy, and thriller film about an INTERPOL agent who is also know as the world’s greatest criminal tracker who sets on a journey to track and capture the world’s most wanted art thief after the INTERPOL issues a global red notice.

The film is written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, produced by the Flynn Picture Company, Seven Bucks Productions, and Bad Version, Inc., distributed by Netflix, and stars Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot. The film was originally set to be released on November 13th, 2020 but due to the COVID-19 lockdown, the release date was pushed back to 2021.

It is noteworthy that this film is the third collaboration between Johnson and Thurber after Central Intelligence 2016 and Skyscraper 2018.
