Al Romaizan Gold & Jewellery has unveiled an extraordinary dress made entirely of 21-karat gold, weighing over ten kilograms. The reveal took place during the company's participation in the Middle East Watches & Jewellery Show at Expo Centre Sharjah.
Dubbed the "Dubai Dress," the garment is valued at approximately 4.6 million UAE Dirhams. It has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the heaviest gold dress in the world.
The unique design is composed of four main pieces: a gold crown weighing 398 grams, a massive necklace weighing 8.8 kilograms, two earrings at 134 grams, and a "Hayyar" piece weighing 738 grams.
This creation follows a series of notable displays by Al Romaizan, including a gold bicycle valued at 1.5 million UAE Dirhams.
The exhibition is open to visitors for free until this Sunday. Opening hours are from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, and from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Friday.
