A US company has started using drones to deliver drugs and fast food meals to homes at Christiansburg in Virginia State.

Inhabitants of the city will be able to order meals or drugs to be fetched to homes.

The drugs should be of those ones of general use and need no prescription written by a doctor.

A company call Alfa Bet has initiated that service in the USA under a commercial name of” Wing”

The drones used in that service is self- directed and they were designated to convey some 100 items of food and drugs from three local stores in Virginia.

On the other hand, the Federal Administration Aviation (FAA) has approved running of drones to deliver ordered  purchases to homes since March this year.

Finch Sanccaran, senior engineer of Alfa Bet Co., said that team of inventors explore all possibilities to modernize that experience through delivering purchases to consumers’ homes.

He revealed that drones convey parcels of purchases within minutes only not in hours or days.

The new service launched by Alfa Bet Co., is a part of a wider program that has been introduces by US Transport Department since 2016.

Drones used in that new service fly at 120 km/ hour. They are run by a friendly environment source of energy.

Those also keep privacy and do not cause any noise at all.

James Burgerese, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Wing Service, said that using drones in this way is the first one of that kind. He added that no one knows the best method of application and directing drones of those services so far. He assured that through cooperation with society, the company will find answers to all question.

The US authorities green lighted that service last year. It is expected that this service will surmount other applications used by Amazon, giant of retail in the USA and other parts of the world.
