Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced the issuance of a presidential decree appointing Dr. Mohamed Sami Mohamed Abdel Sadeq as the new President of Cairo University.
Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadeq is a Professor of Civil Law at the Faculty of Law, Cairo University.
He has held the position of Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs since 2020, according to Presidential Decree No. 41 of 2020.
Abdel Sadeq also serves as the legal advisor to the Supreme Council of Universities, as per Ministerial Decision No. 347 of 2023.
