Dr. Ibrahim Abdel-Ati, the inventor of the controversial Virus C and AIDS treatment, died Friday morning at the age of 74.
The funeral took place today in the family cemetery of the deceased in Alexandria Governorate, and the family received condolences for the deceased next to the cemetery.
His sister-in-law said that Abdel-Ati died of a heart attack, adding that he was transferred to a hospital, pointing out that he would have had a heart-bypass operation, but he died.
She pointed out that the family decided to only receive condolences in the cemetery, in implementation of the preventive measures related to the Coronavirus.
