Farouk Hosny Receives Japanese Amb. to Egypt, Chief Representative of JICA

Former Minister of Culture, Dr. Farouk Hosny, on Sunday received the Japanese Ambassador in Egypt, Mr. NOKE Masaki, Chief Representative of JICA Egypt Office, Mr. OMURA Yoshifumi, and Dr. Hany Helal, former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, at Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture & Arts.

The visit included a tour to the Foundation’s museum, and watching the distinctive artworks and various aesthetic pieces in the museum.

Mr. OMURA expressed his happiness for visiting the museum and seeing the paintings of the distinguished plastic artists, the books, the literary works, and other works of top writers in the Arab and western world.

He also praised the Foundation’s role under the leadership of Dr. Farouk Hosny in promoting the creativity and the components of culture through competitions and the awards for arts presented by the foundation.
