The artist posted on his Instagram account a short statement after the incident.
"Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team," he expressed.

In the same context, Peter Paterno, who is an attorney for Dre, confirmed the news to NBC News adding that the artist was hospitalized on Monday and "being treated for a brain aneurysm."
