Dr. Ahmed Omar Hashem, a member of the Senior Scholars Authority at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, passed away. His official page on the social networking site posted: “We offer our condolences to the Arab and Islamic world, his loved ones and students, over the death of our beloved Imam Dr. Ahmed Omar Hashem. We ask God to replace his home with a better home, his family with a better family, to make Paradise his final abode, and to inspire us and you with patience.”
The funeral prayer will be held, today, after the Al-Zohr prayer at Al-Azhar Mosque.
