Dr. Ahmed El-Saeed, a renowned pediatrician and pediatric consultant, emphasized the importance of every citizen taking care of their health to avoid negative effects.

During his interview with the English-language website "C", El-Saeed pointed out that if a person experiences any symptoms of illness, they should not take special medications from pharmacies or consult pharmacists. Rather, they should consult specialists in the disease to prescribe the appropriate medication.

El-Saeed highlighted several tips for preventing the harmful effects of the extreme heat these days: Drink plenty of water, even if you don't feel thirsty, to keep the body cool. Avoid exposure to the sun during periods of extreme heat. Be sure to wear a hat and sunscreen to protect against the negative effects that affect your health. Wear loose, light-colored clothing made from natural fibers such as cotton and linen. Eat smaller, cooler meals, such as salads. Store foods that require refrigeration properly. Eat fruits and vegetables regularly, especially during hot weather, as they contain high levels of water, vitamins, and minerals that help maintain body hydration.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Saeed advised parents to ensure their children's bodies are hydrated by drinking plenty of water, bathing, eating vegetables, and avoiding sun exposure, whether indoors or outdoors.
