Settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Wednesday, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that dozens of settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa courtyards and performed Talmudic and provocative rituals.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces intensified their military measures around the city of Qalqilya starting at 7:00 AM on Wednesday, obstructing the movement of Palestinians.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA quoted eyewitnesses as saying that occupation forces erected a military checkpoint at the southern entrance to Qalqilya, preventing residents from entering or leaving the city. They also closed the eastern entrance to those exiting through the iron gate and set up a checkpoint to inspect those entering, causing a severe traffic jam.
In a related incident, occupation forces raided the Al-Hasamis agricultural area east of the city, disrupting farmers' work by stopping and interrogating them.
