Dorra Catches Eyes at Cairo Int'l Film Festival

Tunisian Actress, Dorra Zarrouk's outstanding look caught eyes yesterday, Monday as she attended the activities of the 41st Cairo International Film Festival “CIFF”.

She looked stunning in a black and white dress, with soft makeup and hairstyle, which gained the admiration of her fans across the social network.

"I really really enjoyed watching “let’s talk” movie by Marianne Khoury Youssef Chahine’s niece tonight. I loved this deep sincere documentary about family, motherhood, relationships, and life." she captioned.

The festival, running from November (20 -29), is headed by producer Mohamed Hefzy and holds the name of Youssef Cherif Rizkallah, late critic and CIFF’s artistic director.

CIFF has chosen the Mexican cinema as the Guest of Honor for its 41st edition.

Zarrouk’s latest artistic work is TV series “Bla Dalil” (Without Evidence), produced by Synergy Production Company.

Bla Dalil also co-stars Khaled Selim, Nicolas Mouawad, Hazem Samir, Eslam Gamal, Omar el-Shennawi, Gamal Abdel Nasser, Ashraf Zaki, Enaam Elgretly, Mohamed Lotfy, Diana Hesham, Maha Nassar, and others.

The series –consists of 45 episodes— is scripted by Enjy Alaa, and directed by Manal El-Sefy.

The Tunisian actress participated last Ramadan with historical Syrian TV series “Al Haramlek” and Tunisian TV series “El Maestro”, which premiered during the holy month of Ramadan.

Zarrouk, born on January 13, 1980, has earned a degree in political science in Tunis.

She made her way into the acting arena by joining a theater group, where her first performance was in play “Magnoun” which was directed by Tawfiq Al Gibally.

Thereafter, she co-starred in several roles at the Tunisian cinema in addition to working on international works such as “Collosseum” which was directed by the English director Telman Reem in 2003, where she portrayed as the Emperor’s consort.

She also took part in another foreign work titled “Louisa’s Journey” which was directed by French director Patrick Foulsan in 2005, where she portrayed the role of a woman named “A’isha” in that work.

The 39-year-old actress has started participating in Egyptian cinematic works since 2007.

Zarrouk is known for her roles in 2017 film “Tisbah ala Khair”, in 2016 film “Mawlana”, and 2016 film “Kedbet Kol Youm”.

The actress is also known for her roles in 2017 TV series “El Share’A Elly Warana”, in 2016 TV series “Naseeby We Esmetak”, in 2015 TV series “Baad Al Bedaya”, in 2015 TV series “Zarf Esswed”, in 2014 TV series “Segn El Nessa”, in 2012 TV series “Zay El Ward”, in 2011 TV series “Al Rayan”, and in 2011 TV series “Al Aar”.
