Egyptian actress Donia Samir Ghanem is collaborating with singer/producer Hisham Gamal in a new TV Series, which is set to be screened in Ramadan 2021.
Gamal unveiled Saturday the news during an interview with Prominent TV presenter Amr Ellissy on his program “Wahed Min el Nas”, broadcast on “Al Hayat” TV channel.
"There is a special chemistry between us. We have presented many successful works," he added.
Ghanem was absent last year from the Ramadan drama marathon.
The actress participated in Ramadan 2019 drama marathon with TV series “Badal Al Hadoota 3”.
The plot revolves around three different stories each about a girl living in different circumstances and seeking a different goal, each has a social subject shown in a fun way.
It is worth mentioning that the actress was born on January 1, 1985, to an artistic family; she is the daughter of renowned actor Samir Ghanem and actress Dalal Abdulaziz; her sister, Amal— known as Amy— is also an actress.
Ghanem’s talents appeared when she was a child, participating in school plays and shows.
The actress made her acting debut in 2001’s TV series “Leladala Wogouh Katheera” (Justice has many faces).
In 2005, Ghanem made her first film appearance in renowned comedy actor Mohamed Henedi’s film “Ya Ana Ya Khalty”.
She released her first song “Farh el Sen” in 2010.
In 2015, she was a judge on season 4 of “The X Factor” Arabia version along with Lebanese singers Elissa and Ragheb Alama.
Ghanem is best known for her work on the television shows “Leladala Wogouh Katheera”, “El Kabeer Awy”, “Lahfa”, “Nelly and Sherihan”, “In Lala Land”, and “badal el hadouta 3”.
She is also known for her roles in films “El-Farah”, “You Fly”, “Ezbet Adam”, “La Taragoa Wala Esteslam”, “X-Large”, “365 Days of Happiness”, and “laf w dawaran”.
