On Monday, Egyptian actress, Donia Samir Ghanem made her first public appearance since the death of her parents, veteran stars Samir Ghanem and Dalal Abdel Aziz.

The actress took part in the opening ceremony of the 14th Egyptian National Theater Festival, to receive an honor on the behalf of her parents by the festival.
The festival is honoring the late stars for their contributions to the arts scene in Egypt. Ghanem and Abdel Aziz collaborated in over 19 works between cinema, theatre, and television.
Ghanem passed away at the age of 84 years old in May from complications of kidney failure while Abdel Aziz passed away at the age of 61 after a battle with Coronavirus side effects for over three months.
