Former President Donald Trump that he would remain in the 2024 presidential race even if he faced criminal charges in ongoing investigations into his handling of White House documents and alleged manipulation of the 2020 election.

Trump listed several "enemies" from which he hopes to liberate the United States, including globalists, communists and, according to Trump, the fake news media.

He added, "We will defeat the Democrats, we will defeat the fake news media, and we will expose and deal appropriately with the fake Republicans," adding, "We will expel Joe Biden from the White House and we will free America from these once and for all.

Trump also criticized politicians, including some Republicans, who seek to "destroy our great Social Security system.

Social to 70 or 75 or even 80," Trump said, apparently referring to former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who spoke at CPAC about the need for the next GOP chairman to reform entitlement programs.
