Dolce & Gabbana celebrated its deep connection to Sicily by returning to Taormina for what the Italian fashion house described as its most spectacular Alta Moda presentation to date.

Held at the Radicepura Horticultural Park, with Mount Etna providing a dramatic backdrop, the show transformed the botanical gardens into a mythical stage inspired by ancient Greek legends.

The presentation opened with a narration depicting the meeting of goddesses descending from Olympus and earthly devotees, symbolizing the magic of Alta Moda through the union of dreams and reality.

The collection opened with Léonie Cassel, the 16-year-old daughter of Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel, wearing a floral tulle ball gown decorated with colorful blossoms and a bouquet of blue baby's breath.

Bellucci attended the event alongside a star-studded guest list that included Jennifer Lopez and Christian Bale, with more than 300 guests watching the show.

Inspired by Sicily's rich landscape and cultural heritage, the 99-look collection showcased elaborate floral embroidery, citrus-colored embellishments, and intricate gold detailing celebrating the island's iconic lemons and limoncello.

The runway featured theatrical silhouettes, including fringed opera coats with plush collars layered over velvet gowns with Fortuny-inspired pleats.

Corseted waists, exaggerated pannier skirts, and sculptural cage-like designs paid tribute to the glamour of La Dolce Vita, while highlighting the exceptional craftsmanship behind every couture piece.

The show concluded with four breathtaking gowns in aquamarine, sherbet, crimson, and pale blue, each adorned with intricate hand embroidery and cathedral-length veils.

As the designers noted, the collection centered on "a devotion to beauty."

The Taormina presentation marked the second chapter of Dolce & Gabbana's three-day Alta Moda celebration, which began with the unveiling of the house's latest high jewelry collection and concluded with Alta Sartoria, the brand's men's couture showcase.

Returning to the Sicilian town where Alta Moda was first launched in 2012, designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana once again paid tribute to Italian culture, mythology, and craftsmanship through one of the most ambitious couture presentations of the season.
