Fairy Tales Inspire Designer Hassan Bouchikhi’s Latest Children’s Collection

Distinguished Moroccan fashion designer Hassan Bouchikhi released his latest children's collection this week. The collection was inspired by children's stories and Disney.

Young girl’s formal clothes have peculiarities of their own. There is a common desire for the child to look spectacular on any occasion, and certainly, the world of stories, tales, and legends has a great role in a girls' life, which was why the designer chose Cinderella, the beautiful princess who lived a life full of deprivation, despite being the daughter of a king.

The character’s life changed forever and reinstate to a life of luxury and palaces, after attending a prince's party while donning the most beautiful of dresses and the most expensive jewelry.

* Strong colors

Bouchikhi shared his reasons for using strong dark colors, different colors from the colors used in the stories.

"The colors expressed the change Cinderella experienced, between sadness, joy, love, and happiness. Sometimes its dark colors and sometimes it contains joy and happiness."

* Fine materials

The designer relied in the collection on high-end materials such as tulle, organza, velvet, and brocade.

He mixed more than one material in some designs, as well as relied on elegant and refined Bedouin embroidery.

Certainly, the designs are suitable for women in general, but the difference lays only in the size, which can also fit an elderly woman or a young girl, as the designs initially are suitable for all ages.
