A spokesperson for Disneyland said on Saturday that it has suspended the vaccination mandate against COVID-19.
This comes amid President Joe Biden's workplace COVID-19 vaccine rule, which obliges companies with at least 100 employees to require employees to be vaccinated or be tested weekly and wear a face mask.
A Disney spokesperson said that the vaccination mandate was suspended as 90% of locals were vaccinated. "At this point, more than 90% of the active cast members in Florida have already achieved their full vaccination," he told Reuters.
