A source close to El Sherbiny told “Sada el Balad” that she officially married Diab, with the knowledge of the pair’s families and close friends, inside and outside the showbusiness.

“Amr Diab and Dina El Sherbiny have been officially married for over two years,” the source added.

In 2019, El Sherbiny gushed over how Diab was her biggest supporter either at the personal level or the professional one.

“He is very happy with the success of my soap opera ‘Zy al shams’” she added in an interview with anchor, Amr Adib, aired on MBC Misr TV Channel.

El Sherbeny participated last Ramadan with TV series “Zi El Shams” (Like the sun), which was a huge success following its premiere.

This year the 35-year-old actress is participating in Ramadan with TV series “Leabah El Nesian” (Oblivion Game).

El Sherbiny’s killing performance stunned everyone in her TV series “Leabah El Nesian”, which often trended on twitter and Google trending.

The series also stars Ragaa Al-Giddawy, Ali Qasem, Ahmed Dawood, Mahmoud Qabeil, Injy El Mokkaddem, and others.

“Leabah El Nesian” is taken from an Italian text, which is adapted by scriptwriter Tamer Habib, and directed by Hany Khalifa.

It revolves around a woman called Roqaya whose life turns upside down after losing her memory as she struggles to live her new life as well as discover her past.

El Sherbiny revealed previously that she had chosen the name for the character she embodies in the series, which is the name of her mother-in-law, stressing that Diab has nothing to do with her choice.

However, she pointed out that her choice came from within her, and it had nothing to do with it being the same name as Diab's mother.

“I love the name a lot, and when I showed it to Amr Diab, he liked it and was happy,” El Sherbiny added.

She continued: "I loved Amr Diab's mother, despite not meeting her. I wished to meet her because of the great “El-Hadaba” talks about her."

El Sherbiny also talked about her relationship with her stepchild, saying: "My relationship with Amr Diab's children is very good. All of Jana, Kenzi, Abdullah, and Nour are very close to me."
