Phillips Auctions is set to hold an auction of about 125 pieces of jewelry in New York on June 12.
“We are excited to have such a strong showing at our upcoming New York auction, which comes on the heels of our second successful season in Geneva, where there was a clear demand for jewels and gemstones spanning the century, confirming the strong results we achieved in both the Geneva and Hong Kong auctions, and the enthusiasm we saw around the world during our international tour,” said Eva Violante, Head of Jewellery Americas at Phillips.
The auction will be headlined by a 45.07-carat, square-cut fancy vivid yellow diamond, graded VS1, expected to fetch between $2.8 million and $3.5 million, and a 4.01-carat, cushion-cut fancy vivid green diamond, expected to fetch up to $350,000.
A Cartier ring featuring a 3.07-carat, pear-shaped, fancy vivid blue diamond, graded VS2 clarity, made of two rectangular diamonds, the ring is expected to sell for between $200,000 and $300,000, while a 4.16-carat oval fancy vivid pink diamond will also be on sale for between $120,000 and $160,000.
Other noteworthy pieces include a 7.12-carat oval, pear-shaped diamond, VVS2 clarity, an epitaph on a Harry Winston ring, and a pair of ear clips set with marquise-shaped and oval diamonds. Both pieces are estimated to sell for $220,000.
