Danish Prime Minister (PM) Mette Frederiksen said on Sunday that her country will donate 19 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
This came during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at Skredstrup Air Base in Denmark.
Moreover, Danish PM added that she hopes to deliver to Ukraine 6 more fighters of the same type by around next year, and an additional 5 during the same year.
It is worth mentioning that the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky described the decision of the Netherlands and Denmark to deliver F-16 fighter jets to his country as historic.
