American singer-actress Demi Lovato announced Tuesday on Instagram that her new album, "Dancing With the Devil… The Art of Starting Over" will drop on April 2.

The album consists of 19 songs and 3 bonus tracks. It is a deeply personal album and is executive produced by Lovato and her manager, Scooter Braun.

It is a follow-up to her 2017 album "Tell Me You Love Me" and will also feature the song “Anyone”, which Lovato performed at the 2020 Grammy Awards.

The 28-year-old songstress opened up about many personal issues in a new docuseries, "Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil," which premiered Tuesday at SXSW.

In the doc, Lovato got candid about what led to her near-fatal overdose and what she discovered about herself in the aftermath, as well as talking about her musical journey over the last three years.

She also noted that her drug dealer sexually assaulted her, noting that the encounter with the drug dealer wasn't the first non-consensual sexual incident.

Initial production for “Dancing With the Devil” began during her “Tell Me You Love Me World Tour” in 2018.

The docuseries consists of four parts. The first two episodes of the docuseries will premiere for free on March 23 through the pop star’s YouTube channel. The next episodes will be released weekly on the following Tuesdays.

“Dancing With the Devil” follows the singer’s incredibly vulnerable 2017 YouTube Originals documentary “Simply Complicated“, which has garnered more than 35 million views on the platform so far.
