General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, departed the country today heading to Turkey at the head of a high-level military delegation.
The official visit comes upon an invitation from the Turkish Minister of Defense.
During his visit, Zaher is scheduled to meet with the Turkish Defense Minister and several military officials from the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
The meetings will involve talks aimed at enhancing prospects of military cooperation between the armed forces of both countries across various fields.
