The Decent Life Foundation announced today, Saturday, the launch of the second phase of Protection (Hemaya) initiative to support border areas, in cooperation with the Sonae El-Khair Foundation for Development and Banque du Caire, under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and under the patronage of Mr. General Ashraf Attia, Governor of Aswan.A Decent Life Launches 2nd Phase of ‘Protection’ Convoys for Nubians

The Decent Life Foundation distributed 398 medical glasses to the people of Mansouriya village in Daraw Center and began preparing to conduct 50 different eye surgeries completely free of charge for the people whose eyes were examined in the expanded eye convoy that partner institutions carried out in the first phase of the convoy a few weeks ago.

Ayat Omar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Decent Life Foundation, affirmed that the convoys of the “Protection” initiative to support the border areas continue to complete the implementation of their pioneering humanitarian and medical activities, noting that and that the targeting of Nubian villages and the desert communities and the valleys residents in Halayeb, Shalateen, the New Valley and Central Sinai proves the Foundation’s keenness to provide humanitarian and medical services for all Egyptian citizens.A Decent Life Launches 2nd Phase of ‘Protection’ Convoys for Nubians

Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Sonae El-Khair Mostafa Zamzam also said that 2000 packages of foodstuffs and 1000 winter blankets were distributed to the people in more than 20 villages, including the villages of Kashtimna West, Toshka West, Al Dikka, Al Jurf, Al Madiq, Al Mansouria, Al Sharwana, Qebili, Thomas, Afia, Dabawad, Adandan and Balana Awal.

“1000 bags were also distributed to combat the coronavirus infection; each one includes 50 masks, two bottles of alcohol, soap and vitamin C and zinc,” Zamzam added.

For his part, Tarek Fayed, Chairman and CEO of Banque du Caire, said that the bank’s partnership with the Decent Life institutions to support the neediest villages in Upper Egypt affirms the bank’s interest in the societal dimension.A Decent Life Launches 2nd Phase of ‘Protection’ Convoys for Nubians

Decent Life Initiative, launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on January 2, 2019, to provide a decent life for the most vulnerable sects nationwide. 

The Decent Life Foundation announced the opening of volunteering for fieldwork to provide support and assistance to thousands of families in poor villages in various governorates.
