The presidential initiative "A Decent Life" comes within the framework of implementing the Egyptian state's vision for sustainable development launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in February 2016.

11 million citizens in Upper Egypt will benefit from the plan in 873 villages.

Decent Life aims to embody the social dimension of the 2030 vision and to integrate with the economic and environmental dimensions that the state takes into account greatly during the current stage.
