The government media office in the Gaza Strip reported yesterday, Wednesday, that the death toll from the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip had risen to 14,532, including 6,000 children.
The Director- General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, Ismail Al-Thawabta, said in a press conference: “The number of martyrs reached more than 14,532 martyrs, including about 6,000 children and 4,000 women,” noting that the number of infections had risen to more than 35,000.
The Palestinian official indicated that about 26 hospitals and 55 health centers were out of service as a result of the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip.
He confirmed that dozens of ambulances were out of service due to running out of fuel.
Al-Thawabta continued: “The number of martyrs of medical personnel reached 205 doctors, nurses, and paramedics, 25 civil defense crews were also martyred, and 64 journalists were martyred in an attempt to obscure the truth and assassinate the Palestinian narrative.”
