The number of people killed as a result of the severe aftershocks that struck southern Turkey on February 6 has increased to 45,968, according to Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu.
According to Soylu, more than 13 million people in Turkey have been impacted by the earthquakes, and since February 6 there have been more than 13,000 aftershocks reported.
