The death toll from Cyclone Batsirai in Madagascar rose to 92, Sky News Arabia reported.
Many homes collapsed in eastern Madagascar witnessed in addition to the displacement of citizens due to Cyclone Batsirai, which destroyed many facilities, killed dozens and displaced hundreds from their homes.
With many moving to shelters, local officials fear that floods and landslides caused by rain will displace tens of thousands of people. For its part, Madagascar's Environment Minister Vahinala Raharinrina appealed to the international community to provide assistance, noting that the United Nations and the European Union had already offered to provide assistance.
